ETA Club does not condone speeding or street racing — ever. ETAs in this app are estimates, not deadlines, and the app is designed to remove time pressure, not create it.
How the design protects drivers
Your ETA adjusts automatically. If you’re running behind, the people you’re sharing with see the updated time on their own — there is nothing to race, no countdown to beat, and no reason to touch your phone. ETA Club never sends notifications urging a driver to hurry, never celebrates arriving early, and never shames arriving late.
Set it up before you drive. Plan the trip while parked, then put the phone down and let your ETA speak for you. Do not interact with ETA Club while operating a vehicle, and always follow traffic and hands-free laws.
To everyone watching an ETA: it’s an estimate. Never ask a driver to hurry.
Not an emergency service
ETA Club is an informational convenience. Location and ETA data can be wrong, delayed, or unavailable, and no one at ETA Club monitors trips. If someone may be in danger, call 911 — never rely on the app.
Report misuse
Using ETA Club to track someone without their consent, to harass, or to encourage reckless driving violates our Terms and gets accounts terminated. Report it: [safety@YOUR-DOMAIN.com].
